Acting history was made when Marlon Brando won his second Academy Award for Best Actor for the epic caricatures he pulled in The Godfather (Francis Ford Copolla 1972).  American Indian civil rights activist Sacheen Littlefeather refused to accept the Best Actor Oscar ® on behalf of Marlon Brando for his performance in "The Godfather" - the 45th Annual Academy Awards® in 1973.  Liv Ullmann and Roger Moore presented the award.
